We have been doing a lot of reading in Room 2 and now we are going to share what we have learned with each other. If you have read a book, please write

1.Marc and henderson are being brought to a germany U boat base.
2.The Captin of the boat left them at the wrong beach so they end up being left at a gestapo base.
3.The gestapo find the boat that they came in and go hunting them.
4.Chairles Henderson pulls out a p32 sten gun and kills 14 gestapos while Marc haves a thompson submachinegun.
5. When Henderson is finaly out numbered the British Commandos come only 2 and take down 2 whole citys with gestapos and soldier in them without a scratch.
I think anyone into WW2 is going to like it.

Summary: Garnet and Ruby are the mane characters, they are two twins that live in a house with there Dad and Nana. There Mother had been sick and died so there mothers is no longer with them. One day Dad never came home from work, and it was a sunday he usually comes home for a sunday rost so the children and grandmother got worried. Dad came home with a woman called Rosie. Ruby and Garnet didnt like Rosie that much. After a while Dad was in a relationship with Rosie and they wanted to move. Garnet and Ruby didnt wanted to move and they didnt want to move away from nana. When they moved they didnt like it because they had no one to play with and then they started likeing it. They aplied for a school and ruby didnt get in but garnet did, Garnet was a but smarter than Ruby.
Who would like this book: Someone who likes smart comments and funny type of stuff.

Book = The Longest Whale Song

Summary = The story is about a girl called Ella
who lives with her mum and her step
dad.
Her mum is pregnant with her new baby
step brother (Samson).
Ella's mum goes into a coma while
giving birth to Samson.
Ella gets very upset and doesn't go to
school for a few days.
When Ella goes back to school she gets
interested in Whales.
She decides to do a project on whales
and plays whale music to her mum in
the hospital.
Who would like this book? = I think people who like books that are based on reality would like this book and it's more for people aged nine and up.
Marks out of ten = I would give it nine out of ten because it was a very believable story and it was a bit sad but it gets happy at the end.
Book:Harry potter and the chamber of secrets.

Summary:1.In this harry potter book lots of fun things happen.
2.Like when harrys uncle has his boss in the house for a job interview a mysterious elf turns up.
3,Harry gets into trouble for his of course so ron comes at midnight in a flying car to rescue harry.
4.When harry is in school he finds that there is a secret chamber with a dragon and much more.
5.So harry goes out to find the secret chamber without getting caught.
If anyone likes adventure books they would like to read this book.
I rate this book 10/10 because it was exciting adventoruos and really good.

Brief summary - This book is about 5 best friends who love fashion. One of the girls, Amy, got a job in a fashion show doing the cleaning up after shows. Another one of the girls, Grace, loves to play football and has a championship match coming up soon. The day before the match they have planned a sleepover but Amy can't make it as she has a fashion show too attend. Will The English Roses forgive her for not making it to the sleepover? Did Amy make it too the match? - Read the book and find out!!
Who would like this book - I think people who like fashion, friendship and fun would like this book, but I would only recommend it to girls! :)

Name of book: Sovay.

Summary: A girl called Sovay becomes a highway robber because of the disappearance of her father. When she's at home she wears lovely dresses but when she's on the road she's dressed as a man who is now called Captain Blaze. As she searches for her father she finds out that her brother is also missing. Alongside Sovay is her childhood friend Gabriel he helps her to find them. On this journey she realises who she can and can't trust.
Reccomended: People who like adventures.
Mark out of ten: 10/10. It is a great story and is full of mystery.

Summary:The diary of a wimpy kid books are about a boy called Greg.It is about all of the problems he has when going into a new school.He and his bestfriend Rowlie make up ways to defeat these problems.He also has 2 brothers and he is the middle child.The older brother Rodrick is always annoying greg and the younger ond Manny will get away with anything because he is only younge.
Recomendation:I would recomend this book to anyone who like a laugh becaus this book is very funny and over the top.

3.Summary=This book is about a boy who discovers a hidden talent which is soccer. He plays a big match with his school and scores a hat-trick. All the families come together and fix up a great pitch for the team. TJ's dad brings biscuits and gets the barbecue ready. The team play the final on their new pitch and beat their rivals.
4.For Who?=This book is people who are really sporty.

Alice and Megan are going to summer camp. They are really excited and when they get to they're room they see another girl will be staying with them. her name is Hazel and Alice is really happy but Megan is not so sure. When she arrives Alice becomes her best friend, while she does mean and nasty tricks on Megan. She feels excluded all the time and Alice is letting it happen. When they sneak out and don't come back, Alice gets worried and tells the Leaders, and when they arrive back they are in big trouble. Alice just ignores her but when she has a terrible accident she realizes who her real friends are .
Recommended for: People who love tension and friendship and adventure.

But meghan is glad her mam and dad have sent her here because Meghan meets this really nice boy called Jean. But will it be a happy ending or will somebody steel Jean on
Meghan???
I would reccomend this book to people who like a love story with a twist.
i give this book 10/10 because it isnt just an ordinary lopve story it has a really good twist.
Book: The Longest Whale Song

Summary:
Ella's mam is pregnant with her soon to be step brother.
She hates her step father even though he wasn't the worst person in the world.
Mum goes to the hospital with Jack (the step dad) because she's about to have the baby, Ella has to stay with Mum's friend Liz.
The birth goes wrong and Mum is in a coma but Ella's new brother is fine.
Throughout the rest of the story there's fights, falling outs, new friends and a whale project but will Mum ever open her eyes again?
The book looks big but so is the print so I would recommend it to somepne busy who doesn't have too much reading time because the book is memorable and very good.
I personally give the book 9/10 because I kind of wanted it to be longer because I finished it in like a week because it's a 'page turner' but that's a good thing.

Reveiw: This book is about a boy named Greg. Gregs mam bought him a diary to write all of his feelings in it but he thinks it was a silly idea so he use's it as a journel to write about what happen's during his day. Greg lives with his Mam, Dad and his two brothers. Greg is the middle child. He hates being the middle child because Rodrick his older brother is always playing tricks on him and Manny his younger brother gets away with anything.
Recomandation: i would recomend this book to people who like to laugh.

Author: J.K Rowling
Summary 5 sentences:
1.Harry's at his 6th year at Hogwarts.
2. Finally the Wizarding World believes that Voldemort has returned.
3. The wizarding world is terrified of this scare of Death Eaters roaming around.
4. Harry and Dumbledore try to defeat Voldemort.
5. But when they uncover the secret to destroy the most powerful Dark Wizard ever, things dont go so well resulting in tragedy at Hogwarts and an epic challenge for Harry, Ron and Hermione that may be their last.
Recommendation: This book is suitable for anyone who would enjoy reading a superb series of books.
Rating: This book deserves the highest of praise. A true page turner! It deserves 10/10
Book: The suitcase kid

Summary:
1. Andy's parents are divorced.
2. Andy doesn't have a real home because she has to spend one week at her dad's and one at her mam's.
3. Her parents both have new families which Andy hates and wishes they could be back at their own cottage.
4. Andy and her toy pet Radish find a different cottage and secretly play in the garden.
5. They meet the old couple living there and become friends and Andy feels happier in the end because of her three new found friends; the old couple and her step brother, Graham.
I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't like huge books that takes months to read and it could really get you into reading more books and more difficult ones in progress.
I give this book 7/10 because it's almost too easy but otherwise very good.

2.James is 14 years old.
3.The Cherub agents are only sent on stealth missions.
4. In the mission James is going on a stealth mission to find a drug lord on the streets of London.
5. In this book he puts all of his training on the line.
I would recommend this book for anyone who likes stealth missions.

The book Double Act that Saoirse did her review on is a really good book and it has a good few little jokes in it and you cant help but laugh to yourself at them so I would recommend this to people who like to have abit of a laugh. :)

Author: J.K Rowling
Summary:
1) Harrys at his fourth year at Hogwarts.
2) Everyone is excited when Dumbledore announces that a prestigious wizarding event will be held in Hogwarts.
3) Everyone wants to enter but not everyone can participate.
4) The decision rests in the hands of a mysterious goblet of fire.
5) When the event gets interesting and dangerous peoples lives are in jeoprady with the rumours of a dangerous wizard returning. Challenges that test everyones strength and knowledge will prove not to be too difficult compared to the challenges that lie in store for the wizarding world.
Recommendation: I would recommend this to anyone who would enjoy reading an amazing book that's exciting from the first page to the last.
This book deserves 10/10 because it was so exciting with twists and new storylines that you just cant wait to be unravelled!

Brief Summery: A little girl called Sara had to go to a boarding school as her father had to go to the diamond mines in India. After she had settled in she heard that she will never see her father again. When the head-mistress found out that she could not afford to be treated so royaly Sara was sent to live in the attick. She makes some new and kind friends along the way. Will Sara live like royalty again or will she stay poor?
Recommend: People who like adventure and life- based stories.
Marks: 10/10 because it was sad and happy at the same time. It also thought me a good lesson.

Harry Potter has returned to Hogwarts and things are far from strange. Harry has been made Quiddditch Captain and Ron and Hermione have been made Prefects. When Harry finds this old Potions book which was owned by the Half-Blood Prince, who they have no idea is. There are extremely tricky spells and they are learning to Aperate. Harry and Dumbldore go on an extreme hunt to find all of Voldemorts Horcruxes. It takes an enormous amount of strength and it was all for nothing. Draco Malfoy has been acting extremely strange this year and things just get weirder. Ad then things take a terrible turn for almost "all"...
This book is for anyone who enjoys adventure and nail-biting experiences.

Midfielder Mark Towers has just been struck lucky, his family has won the lotto. But Chris Weston captain of his school football team, Wants a different kind of big win on the football pitch. I Would rate this book a 9 out of ten i really liked the book but wished it was a bite longer. I would recommended this book to someone who likes books with twists in it and loves sports.

Who would like this book ? = The book is quite small but I enjoyed it all the same and it doesn't take long to read.
